Forest Hill Residence

North America's Best Shading Project award

The Challenge

This luxury residential development showcased a two-story glass façade affected by intricate sun exposure from both south and west angles. The challenge was to deliver efficient solar control throughout various seasons without compromising the building's architectural integrity.

The Solution

Brading adopted a dual-system method that combines top-down gravity-fed roller shades with bottom-up Laudation systems. All components are motorized and connected to a centralized automation platform, enabling both grouped and individual control for different exposures.

The Outcome

The result was a fully integrated shading system capable of adapting to changing light conditions throughout the day and year. The project received Lutron North America's Best Shading Project award, demonstrating excellence in both design and execution.
