From basic battery operated to 24 volt DC mechanisms to seamless 120 volt AC motorized solutions, we have the expertise and electronics to interface any motor to any automation network.
Advanced motorized shading installations have the capability of controlling the operation of the motorized shades in groups or separately. That is highly dependent on the sophistication of the control mechanism and the technical expertise to install it properly. Several high quality "group controllers" are available to interface motorized shades with Home Automation (HA) Systems. Brading has worked with numerous "third party" suppliers of these controls. Some work well in one application but are found to be problematic or "weak" in others. The problem is usually due to "conflicting logic" within the group controller and how it "talks" to the home automation system. Sometimes it is difficult to "deactivate" the logic in specific shade controllers. Our solution is to program a special group controller called a programmable logic controller or "PLC" for short. Omron "Zen" PLC’s are custom programmed by Brading to provide 100% compatibility with any HA System. Omron PLC’s are fully flexible and expandable to work with all networks.
