The Challenge

This project included a large trapezoidal window in the main bedroom that received ample morning sunlight. The unique shape of the window rendered standard shading options ineffective.

The Solution

Brading engineered a dual bottom-up shading system with left and right independently operated shades, allowing full coverage of the irregular shape. Custom hardware was powder coated to match the window frame, and Lutron motorization was integrated to ensure smooth operation.

The Outcome

The solution offered complete light control for a difficult architectural situation. This project showcases Brading's capability to develop custom-engineered solutions when standard systems are unsuitable.
